Clatsop Association of REALTORS® offers many benefits including:

 

NETWORKING

    • Strengthen relationships through local events, educational classes, and broker tours.
    • Participate as a member on the CAR Board and committees.
    • Attend State and National meetings and conventions.

EDUCATION

    • CAR is proud to offer Primary and Secondary members access to free continuing education classes throughout the year
    • Classes are led by local and nationally recognized leaders on topics such as professionalism, ethics, and local policy issues.

LOCAL MLS

    • Exclusive access to the local MLS system
    • Access to weekly broker tours throughout Clatsop County

 

MEMBERSHIP TYPES

There are different levels of membership in our Association.

  1. REALTOR®: an individual licensed broker working in a REALTOR® member office. Primary membership is through Clatsop Association of REALTORS®
  2. Secondary REALTOR®: Primary REALTOR® elsewhere but would like to join Clatsop Association of REALTORS® for access to networking and education opportunities
  3. Clatsop MLS Member: Access to the local MLS is offered in addition to Primary and Secondary Association membership.
  4. Affiliate: industry related professionals (stagers, mortgage lenders, etc.) that work with REALTORS® and their clients to ensure the best home buying/selling experience.

FEES

To join the Clatsop Association of REALTORS® there is an initial start up fee and varying annual dues. Dues are prorated monthly. Fees differ depending on your membership type.

  • Realtor
    • $100 application fee
    • $120 annual dues
  • MLS
    • $2,000 new firm/office application fee
    • $500 new appraisal office fee
    • $100 new member fee (if already associated with existing REALTOR® or appraisal office)
    • $540 annual dues (option to pay auto-pay monthly)
  • Affiliate (individual only)
    • $100 application fee
    • $120 annual dues
